ABOUT
Yosita has always danced. Since birth, she has been immersed in the festive culture of the Congo. She discovered hip-hop through her brotherwood, who were steeped in this philosophy. She has always been at the centre of the dance floor, cheered on by the audience.
In order to be able to offer quality performances, she never failed to train herself by taking inspiration from TV programmes from the 80s and 90s, under the wise advice of her elders. Then, in her teens, she started taking dance classes in Brussels to reach a professional level. This led to international competitions, where she came 3rd on 2 occasions. This led her to travel the world to enrich her dance and meet new cultures that she wouldn’t have had access to if she’d stayed in Belgium.
At the same time, she has created a number of dance shows with her group ‘Signs’ (which has grown to over 1.000 members/students of all ages). She has been working with a number of projects, institutions, groups, troupes and schools as a teacher, dancer and choreographer since 2006. Even as a child, she was already showing off her talents to those around her by directing them.

She has danced in a wide range of styles, including hip-hop dances, jazz, classic, afro dances, contemporary, dancehall, oriental, bollywood, latin and ballroom dances.
